I am relatively new in Portland but have been in the crafting and collectable world for over 20 years. I have been sewing since grade school and inherited the “sewing gene” from my grandmother who was a seamstress in Scotland. I am one of the volunteers at Mt. Hood Hospital who sews pillows and stuffed animals that are given as comfort items to patients.
You will find my booth decorated with a seasonally changing garland and full of an inspiring selection of items in a variety of mediums. Choose from seasonal jewelry and glass bracelets, home decorations, and floral items. You can also find dolls, bears, cars as well as hand knit dishcloths, slippers, and scarves.
I am known for my covers I create for the Boutique tissue boxes (the square boxes). Covers come in such themes as sport teams, flowers, collegiate brands, seasonal and many others. I would love to create a cover from your own choice of fabric to match your home. These covers are also a great gift to inexpensively send in the mail. Many customers get a different cover for each season to decorate their desk at work.
I also offer a variety of table runners, tablecloths, placemats, and napkins in seasonal and themes.
Do you want a fun SPECIAL gift at Christmas? Look for my sport team Santa hats that I have been known to create. Whatever the team, I can make a great Santa hat or scarf.
I now have a booth specializing in collectables including Avon Cape Cod dishware, belt buckles, and bolo ties for the western fans as well as a handcrafted collection of Japanese dolls made during World War II by a Japanese woman in the camps. Every doll is a little different and many made from Kimono fabric of the 1940 era.
If you have special sewing needs, I would be glad to work with you on getting your creation completed.
So if you want something unique as a gift, stop by my booth and visit a while. Please take a business card and come visit again.
