Lynn Horton

Owner of NW Creations and Collectibles

I first became aware of “craft Malls” when I joined with my brother Mathew to display our creations in the Homespun Crafters store in Gresham fifteen years ago. When that venue closed, my daughter Kristin and I took our products to Eugene and we became part of Crafter’s Alley. During this time, other members of our family began to find their own creativity, and we presently have a dozen family crafters and collectors, spanning four generations. We also have several vendors from the old homespun store.

You can only make and give away so many creations before it is time to find another outlet. At 72 years of age, I found retirement to be less than fulfilling, so NW Creations and Collectibles was born.

The local talent is endless, and we currently have over 100 vendors. Things change daily with new items coming in steadily. If you find something that interests you, act quickly because it may not be here tomorrow. Many of our contributors are happy to do special orders, just ask at the desk or e-mail us.

When I’m not busy at the store I enjoy making blankets. Every baby should have a satin bound blanket that is fully washable and soft. After all my grandchildren and great grandchildren, each had their own blanket, then what? I couldn’t stop making blankets. Besides, it was much less costly than paying a psychiatrist.

We have had a great three years here in the Gresham Town Fair, and we have signed a new 3 year lease. We are here for the long haul and look forward to seeing your pleasure when you see our treasures.
